Our Story

GAMSUNGTEX Korean legwear manufacturing since 1985.

From a Seoul knitting factory in 1985 to a global OEM partner for compression, thermal, and functional legwear. We are also the manufacturer behind the LETS SLIM consumer brand.

  1. 1985

    Gamsungtex founded

    Stocking and legwear manufacturing base established in Korea.

  2. 2006–2008

    Brand launches

    Rasia (2006) and LETS SLIM (2008) launched — shift from OEM-only to owned brands.

  3. 2009

    Incorporated

    Gamsungtex incorporated. Standardized corporate operations.

  4. 2017

    Taiwan & Duty Free

    Market entry into Taiwan. Lotte Duty Free listing. Customer Satisfaction Brand Award.

  5. 2018

    Anti-counterfeit

    Anti-counterfeit authentication tags introduced — brand-trust safeguard.

  6. Now

    Global B2B expansion

    Re-launching as a global B2B/OEM manufacturing partner — Warm & Cold market tracks.

Manufacturing

From yarn to finished product, under one roof.

Knitting, finishing, and final inspection — all in-house. Quality is controlled in a single factory, with no outsourcing.

    Yarn Covering

    Wrapping nylon tightly around a polyurethane elastic core to boost stocking elasticity and durability.

  2. Knitting02

    Knitting

    Knitting the covered yarn into the target stocking shape — circular raw fabric.

  3. Pre-treatment03

    Pre-treatment

    Heat-treatment (Presetting) to remove impurities and align the fibre structure.

  4. Sewing04

    Sewing

    Closing the toe, shaping the panty section, attaching waistband and lace.

  5. Dyeing05

    Dyeing

    Dyeing the stocking with dyes and specialty agents to the target colour.

  6. Finishing06

    Finishing

    Setting the dyed, dewatered stocking on a leg form for the final shape and appearance.

  7. Inspection & Packaging07

    Inspection & Packaging

    QC screening for defects and final packaging.

From the CEO

Greetings. I am Dong-Am Kim, CEO of GAMSUNGTEX.

From the earliest days of stocking manufacturing in Korea, I have devoted more than fifty years as a professional engineer to refining how legwear shapes and complements the female silhouette. Across stockings, leggings, and fashion tights, I have given my full energy and sincerity to product development.

I began as an engineer and founded Saerim Textiles in 1985. Through sustained development and refinement, that work evolved into GAMSUNGTEX in 2009 — a second leap forward.

To everyone who has supported us with care, encouragement, and unwavering interest, I am deeply grateful. We will continue to bring the experience and passion built over these decades to the difficult work of researching and developing new women's legwear — choosing action over words, and answering our customers' calls and expectations with our fullest dedication.
